Extension course "Democracy and Fundamental Rights in the European Union"

Universidade Portucalense (UPT) has a solid experience in teaching subjects related to the European Union in the courses of Law Degree, Master of Law and Master of European and Comparative Law. The Instituto Jurídico Portucalense (IJP) participates in several international projects on relevant issues of European Union law.
The course “Democracy and Fundamental Rights in the European Union” was created to take place in Brazil as part of the aforementioned European Module Jean Monnet of Universidade Portucalense, thus allowing this new training offer to reach Brazilian students who are unable to travel to Portugal.

The first edition took place from August 26 to 31, 2019, in room M002 of the Catholic University of Brasília, with a workload of 32 classroom hours and the possibility of assigning 8 ECTS to students who met the attendance and evaluation requirements. .
